We recently received an enquiry from someone whose financial adviser had disappeared. The adviser in question used to be an IFA with Inter-Alliance. It occurred to me that this must be an occasional problem for people. You see, financial services companies have come and gone over the years. In fact, I spent four years of my career with Inter-Alliance before setting up Professional Wealthcare in 2001.
Inter-Alliance was merged with another group called Millfield. Both originally operated out of West Byfleet and although they became national organisations, many of their clients were based in Surrey and the surrounding areas of Hampshire, Middlesex and Berkshire. Unfortunately both Inter-Alliance and Millfield are now names of the past.
I’m sure that many of their advisers moved on and continued to look after their clients interests. However, if you have lost touch with your adviser, help is still at hand.
